Keeping It Simple With The Sweet & Simple Kitchen

We see our customers planning lavish parties and also paired down simple celebrations. No matter how you plan your party, we believe the special moments in life are worth celebrating. Kristie from The Sweet & Simple Kitchen knows a thing or two about keeping it simple. Her rustically elegant desserts are constantly making us drool on social media. We are so lucky that she occasionally swings by the shop with fresh baked treats for us to sample. On one occasion, she picked up a pack of our popular Gold Glitter Birthday Candles and swooned over how cute they were.

I handed her the pack of candles and said "Here, take these. I'm sure you'll be able to use them a some point". We would never have guessed Kristie would get Miranda Anderson Photography and take stunning pictures of them on her vanilla cake with blackberry buttercream icing. We were positively thrilled when she sent us over the photos! It was also great to see Kristie wearing clothes from two Fraser Valley owned and female run businesses, Muse Social Fashion House and The Sweet Life Apparel.

As we looked over the images, it became clear that as much as we love over-the-top celebrations, sometimes a simple set of elegant candles can make all the difference. Consider this the Marie Kondo of party planning by including party supplies that truly spark joy in your heart. In the shop, we are currently inspired by our Mini Party Hats. They are just so dainty and adorable! We are also in love with our Fiesta Fringe Party Horns. They look so modern and would add a touch of class to any celebration.

So we challenge you to try this concept for you next party, pick a few premium party supplies that you truly love and execute a paired-down celebration.
